Location:
Xcaret is located at the Riviera Maya, close to Playa del Carmen, and
opens daily during the winter season from 08:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and
during summer time from 08:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
How to get there:
If you are in Cancun, you can rent a car and easily arrive by taking the
Playa del Carmen road to the park. Also you can go to the bus station in
Cancun downtown, the Mayab or ADO buses depart each 15 minutes to Playa
del Carmen. They arrive to the park in 50 minutes approximately and they
leave you at Xcaret’s main entrance. Once there you can take a colorful
bus called “El Despeinado” that goes directly to the box office and it
has no cost.
If you are in Playa del Carmen you can take a cab as Xcaret is only 15
minutes away, or the public bus that will leave you at the main
entrance. From the Riviera Maya it is convenient to rent a car.
